The upcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash will be a little bit longer, according to James Cameron, who is known for his lengthy Avatar saga.
The Academy Award winner gave an explanation, stating that his team had created too much content for The Way of Water in 2022.
The director of Avatar went on to say, "In a nutshell, we had too many great ideas packed into Act One of Movie 2."
"We weren't focusing on character development enough, and the picture was rushing along like a speeding train. "Guys, we have to split it," I remarked. "In actuality, movie 3 will be a little bit longer than movie 2," he continued.
In August 2024, James debuted the Fire and Ash title at D23. At the moment, he added, "You'll see a lot more Pandora that you never saw before."
"It's an incredible journey and a visual feast, but the emotional stakes are higher than ever before."
"We’re going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love," James said.
On December 19, Avatar: Fire and Ash will be released in theaters.
